Self catering holiday cottage at Gartcarron, Fintry near Stirling

 

This former forestry cottage is situated on the outskirts of Fintry, a quiet rural village in the Campsie Fells; it is an ideal base from which to discover Stirlingshire and the Western and Central Highlands of Scotland.

The cottage is semi-detached and is priced for 2 to 5 people although it can sleep 6.

There's something for everyone nearby. Forest walks and cycle tracks are available from the doorstep and the Loup of Fintry Waterfalls are a 10 minute stroll down the road.  The ancient town of Stirling with its striking castle and the Wallace Monument is just 12 miles drive through beautiful countryside. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs are each about half and hour away whilst Edinburgh and Glasgow can be reached in around an hour.
